Our Service
We offer small-scale black light puppet shows and puppet-making workshops for children aged 3-10. This service is aimed towards parents, teachers and caregivers to assist in making their school curriculum a little more fun, their birthday party a success, or their day a little more bright. Our service is a mobile one. Since we come to your location, we will save you time and money by not having to bus the kids around, and you will experience less aggravation keeping track of them in a strange place. Not to mention less work for you and no need for chaperones!
We have 17 years experience working in puppetry and 3 years as arts educators.
We have been a part of teams that made puppets for stage shows such as Disney’s the Lion King for Toronto and other productions around the world as well as for The Little Shop of Horrors for the Canadian Stage Company to name but a couple.
Our puppet show length is approximately one half hour. When we are finished our performance the children can see our puppets up close and ask questions about what we do. Our best package is a show and puppet making workshop combination. This package is great for daycares and birthday parties.
A lesson on puppetry and making puppets for the children to put on their own personalized play is an option. We also can provide a full day of 4 shows and 4 puppet-making workshops so more groups of children can enjoy the experience. We can adjust our services to suit your needs.

Our Current Shows
See our brand new show that we call the “The Bug Show”. Meet Catherine the caterpillar; enjoy the magic of Anty the novice magician, and the Queen ant herself. This show is done in 2 styles to promote creativity and an awareness of different ways to tell a story. The first segment is performed to original music composed just for Frolics Puppet Theatre and the second half is performed with voices and sound effects. All performances are animated by one individual.
